Join me for a relaxed oil painting workshop in a small, friendly group where you'll receive plenty of individual guidance and support as you learn the fundamentals of oil painting.
The workshop takes place in a welcoming studio space within Saan1 Art Gallery in the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter, surrounded by creativity and inspiration. It's the perfect environment to learn new skills, experiment with oil paint, and enjoy the process of painting.

Learn in a Warm, Small Group Setting
My workshops are kept small and friendly so everyone gets plenty of personal guidance. With just a few people in the studio, I can spend time with each of you, answer questions, demonstrate techniques, and help you feel confident as your painting develops.
I’ll guide you through my own oil painting process, showing you how I build an expressive painting from start to finish.
Express Yourself Through Colour and Paint
I’ll show you how to mix and layer colour, create movement with expressive brushstrokes, and use texture to bring energy into your painting. You’ll learn to make confident colour choices while allowing the work to develop naturally in your own hands.
Towards the end of the workshop, I’ll guide you through bringing your painting together with final details, expressive marks, highlights, and subtle adjustments.
